The ESP32 CAM WiFi Module with Bluetooth now comes fitted with the upgraded OV3660 3MP camera sensor, replacing the earlier OV2640 2MP unit for noticeably sharper, more stable images — a direct benefit for face recognition and detail-critical vision projects. It remains a highly competitive small-size camera module that operates independently as a minimum system, with a footprint of only 40 x 27 mm and a deep sleep current as low as 6mA, making it well suited to a wide range of IoT applications.
It is suitable for home smart devices, industrial wireless control, wireless monitoring, and other IoT applications.
This module adopts a DIP package and can be directly inserted into the backplane for rapid production, giving a high-reliability connection mode that’s convenient across various IoT hardware terminals.
ESP32 integrates WiFi, traditional Bluetooth, and BLE Beacon, with 2 high-performance 32-bit LX6 CPUs and a 7-stage pipeline architecture. Main frequency is adjustable from 80MHz to 240MHz, with on-chip sensors including Hall sensor and temperature sensor.
